Time/Distance Graph - 2nd axis? or scaling needed?

Hi all

my first post as ì get to grips with i2 again after a break of a few years ... apologies if this is a stupid question!

The software which I have been using allows for primary and secondary axes when charting two different metrics on one chart - i.e. you could either have both y axes on the left or show one on the left and the other on the right. This would allow comparison and overlay of say RPM (4k-10k) with Speed (80-300 kph). The 2 factor difference between the two numbers wouldn't result in the chart only showing a flat line for the smaller metric etc...

I tried to do this by scaling in ì2Pro ... which works but it also affects all other instances of that metric in other charts and math calcs ... which isn't great. So now I've created new metrics with the scaling in the formula for those metrics ì want to show overlapped somewhere else, which works.

But isn't there a simpler way?

thanks
Matt

There is a scaling property for a group, so you can have manual scaling for the group. This does not affect the scaling for the channel which would change how it appears everywhere that uses autoscaling for the group property.
