Hello,
My team is doing a Porsche in a race series only on Nurburgring Nordschleife.
I've recently discovered a problem with position on trackmap.
When I generate a new trackmap of a fast lap and compare the data logged from this lap with the position on the trackmap it doesn't go together for the whole lap.
The first quarter of the lap is congruent to the data (for those who know Nurburgring-Nordschleife: from Start/Finish up to Schwedenkreuz). But from there the problem shows up.
For example: The marker on the trackmap is in a peak of a corner,
-throttle position show 100%,
-steering wheel angle is 0°,
-master brake pres is 0bar
when the marker is after the corner, when there is a straight, graphs show the data of the way before/through the corner.
-throttle position goes down
-steering wheel angle shows reliable values of going through the corner
-brake pres goes up
To the end of the full lap (around Schwalbenschwanz, Doettinger Hoehe) the graphs go congruent again with the data of the graphs.
Has anyone else discovered such problems?
Is it a problem of the length of a lap (around 25km)?
Or are there just some wrong adjustments in my i2 pro?
I've already talked to a colleague and we both first thought of a wrong tire circumference. Backchecked, circumference is ok. Besides the offset is partial and not through the whole lap.
We are NOT using GPS. Only G-Lat and Corrected Distance to generate trackmap.
I've already tried generating the map by using the ABS G-Sensor instead of the main one. Same problem here.
Thanks in advance for your help.
