Instantaneous acceleration

Hi Folks,

Going back to my original post requesting a formula for a BHP maths channel, I'd really like to use a value for instantaneous acceleration based on change in velocity (rather than the using the longitudinal g-sensor) - should produce a smoother/more reliable result based on power at the wheels rather than a fluctuating g trace.

Please does anyone have an operational maths channel formula to give instanteous Acceleration derived from the speed trace?

Many Thanks, Maelstrom.

Would be interesting to see how the instantaneous and derivative numbers compare.
If the acceleration is coming in more frequently then they can be averaged.
