I2 Standard

Please, Please, Please add the ability to have more time/distance graphs. There is not nearly enough for a dealer who works with multiple customers where you need worksheets for Boost, DBW, Variable cam, Idle, etc. I realize you can create different projects, but when you need to flip between different sections of data it reduces efficiency of the tuning process.

Frankly, I don't really understand why we would have separate analysis tools when they are available at no cost. It should be a flag in the log file by the generated device that allows the use of Pro Analysis analysis section in the tool. I would think it would reduce your development costs, version control, and customer confusion by having only one tool.

I think that you may underestimate the difficulty that creating one package that morphs from standard to pro, depending on log file opened. The current method was the only good solution to the problem of different software levels.

The restriction placed in i2 standard is that that i2 standard is intended for use by club and mid level users. The restrictions of i2 std are generally not a big deal for the customers that it is intended for. If you need more, then you need to have pro.

But I do understand your problem, and there is a fix in the works. The intention is to create a dongle controlled pro version that you can then use to open any files as a pro file. So, as a dealer, you effectively buy one pro upgrade, then you can open all of your customer files in your i2 pro with your dongle.

That should sort your issue out.

Do you know when the dongle will be available to dealers?

The project has been started, but there is quite a bit of work to do to make it secure, and put the business process in place.

The finished product is quite a way off still, but we understand the reason for your request, and intend providing this option as soon as possible.
