Hi,

How close can BTX`s be placed to each other? If you are forced to place a BTX close to another beacon what is the best Beacon ID to run?

Is it better to place a 888 next to a 889 or is it better to place a 888 next to a 111?

Whats the lowest possible ID?

Thanks
Martin

Hi Martin,

The spacing between adjacent transmitters must be at least 6m (20ft) to avoid the signals from each transmitter conflicting with each other. This also includes other manufacturers’ beacons that emit an infrared beam. The Beacon ID is a code transmitted from the BTX to the BR2 and so the closer the Beacon ID of 2 adjacent transmitters the greater chance of interference.
