E816 Digital Inputs & C1812

Greetings,

With the C18212 Dash Manager (6.40I5) into an E816
I am trying to use Digital pins 5 and 6 on the E816 to feed into the dash but I am only seeing Digital Inputs 1-4 on the dash manager.

Am i missing something like a software update or firmware update of the E816?

I'm not sure exactly why they were never added to the input setup, I'll get it added into our system to put them in.

If you add the "Expander Diagnostics" CAN template to the communications setup there are state channels for each of the digital inputs. You can use the "E8xx Dig in 5/6 State" channels as your switch channels.

Thank you so much for the reply. I read that last night when looking at the the documentation for the E8xx into the ADL. I dug into it in the C1812 dash manager and found that template. So it will work.
