Have you had a look at the Curtis AC/DC motor controllers? You could pair it up with a suitable truck/forklift hydraulic pump. It would do all the speed control for the hyd motor(CANbus/pot/voltage/frequency as the control signal). Also, don't Toyotas run an EHPS system?

Yes I ended up purchasing a late model Toyota MR2 pump as this seems to be the proven way to do it.
Just wanted to check first if anyone had done any kind of 'control' for it through a dash before.

Hello 20B,

Bringing this back from the dead!

Did you ever come up with a solution for the speed signal? I'm looking at doing something like this with my C125...

Thank you!

Ive used the Mini cooper Electro hydraulic pumps before and also the latest mini R56 powersteering pump that needs CAN data TXd to it to make it work. If you are interested in these pumps send me an email

Cheers

If you check OP’s website, you’ll find: “I also run a wire from the VSS signal of the ECU to the VSS terminal on the controller.”
