MDD Steering Wheel

Postby Matt Graham on Tue Oct 07, 2008 1:28 pm

Recently purchased a Radical with an ADL2 and an MDD Steering wheel. Trying to figure out how to get the steering wheel setup the way I want/like, and I can't seem to figure out if I can do a few things.

I believe it's a Model 12 wheel.

First, one of the lights next to the buttons on the wheel is always on. Where might this be controlled?

Second, the shift lights come on in the following sequence: Outer most green, two outer most green, three outer most green, 4 middle all red. I'd like the change that a bit, and maybe get them all to flash at a the desired shift RPM.

Third, there are two 4 pos rotary switches on the wheel and I have no earthly idea if they do anything.

I guess the basic question would be where to look in the SW for the configuration for these things, and to see if I could get some pinout information for the steering wheel connector so I can start with my multimeter and try to figure out what's connected to what.

Thanks in advance.

the MDD steering wheel is probably a MoTeC USA made item as MoTeC dont actually make any stering wheels.

To get support on this wheel, you should contact MoTec USA directly, at dasupport@motec.com
