Chassis Clips

I got some duetch connectors from one the friendly MoTeC places.
Also got some chassis clips to hold them to the chassis.
They slide in (onto the clip), but do not stay locked in place per se.
Should they , or should I be using a ty rap to hold the wires in the general region to prevent them form sliding to and fro?
It is for an off road car, so I expect that the vibration is somewhat of an issue, and the wire are 22 gauge, so I do not have a lot of faith in using them as a fastening source for the connector.
