Hi,
There's a trigger "mismatch" with this engine, I'm planning to run it only on the Crankshaft sensor, trigger wheel is 36-2-2-2 ;
How to setup this in ECU Manager ?

Thanks in Advance

Hi,

Short answer is that you cannot do this. There is not a Ref only mode that supports the 36-2-2-2 trigger pattern used in the Subaru engine, using the Subaru Mode will generate an engine speed but it will not synchronise.

Strange,
This is the second Subaru i see running only on the crankshaft sensor, vehicle was brought to us for an engine rebuild and remap and i was shocked to see that the camshaft sensor isn't even connected...
Is it possible that the engine is running on another "mode" ?

Thanks

I'd have to see how it is configured.

I have run all of the reference modes available in the M800 against the Subaru 36-2-2-2 trigger pattern and could not get any of them to synchronise without the Sync sensor. It may be that they have changed the trigger on the crank to be a 36-2 and that will work without a sync signal in two stroke mode.
