Relocate lambda heater on Evo 89
Posted: Fri Feb 15, 2013 1:53 amI have the Evo 89 PnP M800 and would like to relocate the lambda heater from AUX2 to INJ7 so I can use AUX2 for DBW idle control. Currently Link 18 is closed and I'm using internal lambda 2 with a NTK.
It seems there must be an internal link from AUX2 to the internal lambda 2 header so it's not as easy as relocating pins. Will opening Link 18 solve my problem? I don't fully understand how Link 18 works.
I'm aware INJ7 may not have the current capacity for lambda heating, but I understand this may only be an issue when free air calibrating which can be worked around.
