Evo VII to IX intake manifold

Postby JOHNDQ on Fri May 07, 2010 4:28 am

I am thinking of changing my intake manifold on my Evo VII to a more up to date unit of a Evo IX before i have it remapped as they have a 3 bar map sensor and intake air temp sensor! Just wondering if the Motec M800 (EVO48) ecu is compatible with this :!:

Yes. It is connected to AV2 input. If you don't have connector on the manifold already you will have to modify loom. Signal from MAP must be connected do pin 73.
Check if your MAP sensor has 53 as the last two numbers.

Thanks for you reply mate, the car does have a 3 bar map sensor already and the pins are connected into the Mits muti plug for the air mass meter but I don't think it looks very good and the terminals have come loose a few time so I was going to reroute the loom upto the intake manifold if you see what I mean :D
