Board Links setup from evo8 to evo4

Postby jasaircraft on Wed Oct 02, 2013 5:07 am

Hi

I would like to confirm if I have to open links:
lk03
lk23

in order for this evo8pnp m800 ecu to be able to start the engine on this evo4 Im working on...

the strange thing is I can see injection pulses at the plugs and also have ignition spark at the sparkplugs but it wont start using the motecs website basemap.

fuel pump is working correctly.
engine starts ok with the stock ecu.

Any other ideas?
I get air temperature error on the diagnostics as well as baro...

I have discovered pin 92 lacks the ground it should be outputting towards the sensor ground cables.

the stock ecu sends good ground signal through this pin.

So why on earth is this m800 not outputting that ground ? it is currently outputting 9.78v :?

I have just connected pin 92 to chassis ground and the car started right up, telling me the ecu was now seeing good sensor voltages.

So what could be wrong with this ecu for not outputting the 0v on pin 92? could it be caused by one of the board links (lk03, lk23 or other?)?

meanwhile i will bridge daughter board pins 63 ( main connector pin 92) to pin daughter board pin 65 which is ground.

I hope this is not wrong...
