Hi... I was wondering if there was calibration specs for a couple of sensors off of a 2009 Yamaha YZF R6.
I plan on running a M130 ECU and was wondering if stock sensors, coils, and injectors will be useable.
Fuel Injectors are a Denso 297500-0640
Ignition Coils are a Mitsubishi F6T568
Crankshaft Position Sensor is a Yamaha 2C0-81670-00-00
Camshaft Position Sensor is a Yamaha 5VY-85896-02-00
Speed Sensor is a Yamaha $WM-83755-03-00
Any information would be helpful since I am new to MoTec software.

Hi Ryan,
No on the injectors.
Coils attached.
The other sensors are configured in the M130 based on information obtained from using the Input Capture functionality in M1 Tune. Do you know if they are Magnetic (two wire) or Hall Effect (three wire) sensors?

Crankshaft is magnetic, Camshaft is Hall, and Speed is also Hall Effect

Hi Ryan,
When you get the M1 wired up, you will need to do an input capture of the signals to validate the signal and also configure the settings required, such as the Active Edge (especially on a missing tooth pattern), Offset, Debounce and Hysteresis. As these values vary based on the installation, you need to have the base data to get them working correctly.

Hi i'm having a hard time sourcing an ignition module rated to a high enough rpm to drive our stock F6T568 ignition coils. Is there a common ignition module used with MoTec rated around a max of 15k rpm? Would the MoTec IGN4 work for this application on a 2009 yzf R6 with stock coils?

Are they being run on a two stroke or as wasted spark?
The IGN4 should not have an issue with this speed if the coils are being run as an individual coil in 4 stroke mode.
When I do a calibration of a coil I will do a test of them where I have a calibration that is configured as a distributor equipped V8 (so 8 firings per cycle on the same coil) and run it at 10,000rpm. Most coils will pass this test, for an igniter I use Mitsubishi J121 single igniters on the test rig.

They are being run individually in a 4 stroke mode. So either the IGN4 or a Mitsubishi J121 per cylinder would work?

I cannot see a reason why not.
