Penny & Giles TPS w M880

Postby bdinnerv on Sun Sep 30, 2018 8:55 pm

Hi All,

Looking for a bit of a sanity check here. I have a Penny & Giles TPS (for throttle pedal) setup in conjunction with an M880.
I have the TPS wired as follow:

ECU.36 ( AV6 ) - Sensor Yellow (CH1 output)
ECU.44 ( AV8 ) - Sensor White (CH2 Output)
ECU.34 (5v Aux) - Sensor Red (+5v)
ECU.11 (0v aux) - Sensor Black (0v Supply Gnd)

I have assigned AV6 to TPS Driver 1 and AV8 to TPS Driver 2 in Sensor Setup.

When going into Adjust, Sensors, TPS Hi / Lo, if I select TPS Driver 1 (or 2) , it shows a value of 64.1 (from memory, not i front of the ECU right now). If I adjust throttle positions, the reading doesnt change.

I have tried the various throttle calibrations for the sensor.

Have I got it all wired up and setup correctly - am I missing something?

The sensor is this one here - https://www.competitionsupplies.com/pen ... 794-mounts

Cheers,

Ben

Well, after much fiddling around and testing, it turns out there was an issue with the ECU pin 11 pin - fixed it up and the sensor is working fine now.
