I have an M4 ECU and wish to be able to upload new ECU configuration data away from the car via my home PC. What are the minimum connections required to the ECU ?

Can I confirm the following minimum connections are required (For late series M4 ECU)

Power:
Pin 1- 12 V
Pin 25 - Gnd

RS232:
Pin 21 - RxD - (connected to pin 2 on PC's D9 connector)
Pin 22 - TxD - (connected to pin 3 on PC's D9 connector)
Pin 23 - Gnd - (connected to pin 5 on PC's D9 connector)

Are the RxD and TxD pins correct for the PC's D9 connector ?

Are there any other connections required ?

Many thanks
Toby

These are the only connections you need (provided that your M4 has a serial number of 3000 or above) but you have the pin numbers for tyour serial connector wrong, they should be:
RS232:
Pin 22 - RxD - (connected to pin 2 on PC's D9 connector)
Pin 23 - TxD - (connected to pin 3 on PC's D9 connector)
Pin 21 - Gnd - (connected to pin 5 on PC's D9 connector)

This is detailed in MoTeC Drawing #A11.
