Where to find bare connectors to go to OEM units?

Postby Holmz on Sat Dec 24, 2011 7:59 pm

Looking for bare connectors for the side that mates into an existing sensor/connector, and having little luck.
I could probably get old looms from a wrecking yard (Junk yard), but do not want to have splices and joins. I would rather have just bare connectors to crimp to.

It is a bit of a dog's breakfast of connectors needed...

1) The Bosch ignitor module #" 0 227 100 211" which is also labeled as Audi #"4D0 905 351" (Email sent to Bosch, but other options are good to have).

2) Crank trigger and cam trigger off of a Rover K-Series.
I could measure them up, but have no idea where to look for this stuff.
Looks pretty simple as it is a 2 wire job at the sensor.

3) Yamaha R1 fuel injection and throttle body connectors. There are a couple on there, and I would rather not cut and splice those too. Just bolt them on and plug in and go.

The Yamaha connectors available above.

The K series stuff is likely to be minitimer and available from auto electrical suppliers. Same with the Bosch module connector.

http://www.m-cal.com/ have a lot of common stuff. Oddball OE stuff can be a nightmare. I have listings for most Toyota stuff if needed.

I forgot one of the best in the UK, Steve Hurst, the company owner, is very helpful, and very Motec savvy :
