Did my delco manifold temp sensor die?

Hi guys, after a few good runs down the quarter, my air temp after the turbo/before the intercooler has been reading incorrectly.

I noticed on the calibration page that temps max out at 150 degrees C. I believe the turbo would be generating higher temps than that. Could this have damaged the sensor? It now reads 160 deg C and as it heats up, the reading drops! Strange. Any suggestions? I'm logging with an sdl.

It wont last long there...too hot and too violent for the exposed sensor tip to survive if you have it right by the turbo`s discharge. The Delco failures I normally see for a sensor in this position is the complete dislodgement of the sensing element inside the little cage.

The Bosch pressure/temp sensor found in the BMW335 lasts better. (Havent broken one yet, but I guess still not the right sensor for the job, just used it because I had it)

Common discharge temps 160-170DegC. Higher pressure ratios on turbo`s normally make more temps. (look at your compressor map) I guess discharge temps can vary between turbo`s, boost, etc etc as much as there are different turbo`s :)

What sensor do you suggest I use?

Guys, any suggestions on the sensor I should be using? What do you have with the same thread and with a temperature range that safely reads under 300 ish degrees c
