Need to replace lambda sensor on LTCD

Postby picasso on Wed Sep 05, 2018 5:20 am

Hi,

one of the lambda sensors connected to the LTCD failed the free air calibration, so I have to replace it.
Can it be replaced with a standard Bosch LSU 4.9, or do I have to order one from MoTeC.

If it is ok to use a standard Bosch sensor, shall I use the "Initial Factory Sensor Calibration" option in the MoTeC LTC Manager when installing the new sensor?

Hi,

You can order a Bosch LSU 4.9 from any supplier and use them with the LTC units. If it is a genuine Bosch sensor, then you can use the "Initial Factory Sensor Calibration" option, as this reads the internal calibration resistor in the LSU connector to set the calibration value.
