PLM serial cable & Can cable

I have a PLM connected to my M800 via a Can cable. As i have the PLM fitted into my console It's a pain have to remove a lot of interior parts to fit the serial cable to do an air calibration. Is it possible to fit my serial cable to the PLM & have the Can cable fitted into the serial cable so I can have easier access? The serial cable is about 2m long. will this effect anything? or maybe there's a Double adaptor available?

you could have a single CAN connector with both Serial an CAN on it (using unused pins for the RS232 wires)

make up a patch loom with serial (in the D9) to serial (the rs232 pins on the round CAN connector)

the UTC has ony 3 wires connected to the round plug end, CAN Hi, CAN Lo and Gnd, so you should have 2 spares that you can freely use without any influence to the UTC.
