tacho wire to cut

Postby beefcake on Sat Dec 19, 2009 8:18 pm

hi, i have a autometer tacho "Sport comp 2" part num 3699 and a motec ignition system cdi 41012 for a rotary 13bt

Now my question is does any one know here what wire i cut in the back of the autometer to get the correct reading on the gauge, as it has a blue wire and a brown wire and do i cut one or both or neither , they have a diagram for 4 cyl, 6 cyl and 8 cyl but alas no rotaries

thanks or do i have to speak to autometer and if i do what specs do i tell them, as in what output is the rotary cdi gonna be :?:
