In the cdi8 brochures is suggests it will work via a single output link to the ecu but also
Suggests it will work in stand alone mode as well with a "windows spark management software"

I have hunted around everywhere I could to find information on the wiring or the setup in stand alone more but with no luck at all.

Has anyone done this? I'm looking at running 8coil setup on a carb small block chev

Hi,

Can you please point me in the direction of this brochure, as that is not mentioned on our datasheets for the CDI.

We have two different CDI-8's, one being the single input M800 compatible version (p/n 14004), and the other the M1 compatible unit (p/n 14015) that has 8 separate inputs.
