Nissan Ign Module Placement???

I have a CA18DET and have just fitted a bigger turbo and new exhaust manifold.
The problem I have is that the ign module is now sitting really close to the exhast manifold.

I'm worried about heat on the ign module, so I'm going to move the module.

Due to limited space in the engine bay I was thinking of mounting the module in the cabin beside the ECU.

Is there a maximum wire distance between the module and the coils?
Will this extra wire cause a problem???

Moving the module in to the car beside the ECU should not cause any problems. The length of the wiring is not critical just ensure that your Ref/Sync wiring is properly screened to reduce the likelihood of any electrical noise interference.

Placing the ignition module inside the passenger compartment is not a problem at all.
We have been doing it for years on our race cars.
