Hi Steve,
It is a bit hard to give a guaranteed answer without trying it. Realistically inductive coils are designed differently to CDI coils so you would be using it outside of what it was designed for.

thanks forthe reply, im just changing from a autronic sm4 to the m800 i am using your ignition expander to feed 2 autronic r500 cdi boxes what coils do you reccomend for a high hp supercharged engine v8 coil per plug

Crane Cams LX-92 and MSD #8230 have produced some good results. Also price is decent.
