ISX

I have just installed an IEX in conjunction with an M8 ecu running LS1 denso coils. This is all running on a 6 cylinder ford xflow. I have it all wired as per your drawing and it is all working but the question I have is the IEX has to be wired in firing order from first to fire onwards and the box has 8 outputs, how does the IEX know only to fire 6 outputs on my engine as it only has the one input form the ecu.

Thanks
Jason

You set the number of cylinders & number of coils in the M8 software, so the trigger signal that the M8 sends to the IEX is coded with this info. What is really smart is that it even allows you to individually trim ignition timing on each cylinder.
