IEX on a rotary engine

Hello. Can you use the IEX and a M4 on a 13b rotary engine?
In the ignition type setup I need to use the 100 if im going to use the IEX, but to get access to Rotary split setup I must use the 102 or 103. Does that mean that its not possible to use the IEX on a rotary engine??
