does this connection look correct?
it is a 4 pin coil

Looks like they have a built in igniter according to the information you supplied, so the +5v trigger will go directly to the ecu, the external igniter is not required.

your next problem will be dwell settings for them!

...looks like they might be a good fit for a 1UZ too... hmmmmm...

M48 only has 2 ignition outputs - otherwise what you say makes perfect sense and a cleaner wiring setup.

ah ok

I take it the external igniter only needed on the two pin coil

thank for the info

so do I just join coil A,C (pin2) trigger together ? and coil B,D (pin 2)trigger together to run in waste spark mode (m48)
