Mercury CDI coil Question!

Hi everyone, I have resently bought a new CDI4 ignition system with 4 Mercury coils, and are a bit confused about the ferrit cores you get with them. Is there a difference in the coils performance depending on wich ones I use? There seems to be a big difference in the cores mass or size!

And is this ignition system sensitive regarding wich ignition wires to use?

Should I isolate the wires good to prevent interferance or is this not so important with this system and coils?

Either core will work the same.

Which wires are you talking about? Primary or secondary? You should follow the CDI8 drawing for primary wiring.

The wires going to the spark plugs! Any special or any ones that isn't recomended?

For the system wiring I followed the sheet supplied with the CDI4 that I bought.
