M400 with Pro-14 , which coils ?

Postby dgowland on Mon Mar 02, 2009 12:06 am

This is all on a motorcycle , turbo charged running roughly 35 psi . Which coils do you think are most reliable ? I would like to use something like the CBR COP coils but I'm concerned if they are up to the task . Should I just go with the Merc cdi coils ? Just looking for ideas for a bullet proof set up for 13500-14000 rpm . Bike has been running with a bosh 211 ignitor and stock suzuki coils . I'm upgrading to the Pro-14 cdi . COP makes the cleanest set up in the least space ... needs to work perfect though .

Thank you

I've run stock Suzuki coils to 40psi at 10,000 RPM, and 17,000RPM NA.... Have you tried them yet?

I ran the stock Suzuki coils with an ignitor . I'm switching to a M&W pro-14 cdi . So I'm looking for the best choice in CDI coil for 13-14000 rpm .
