Wiring up SLM from MDC2

Hi guys,

Can i use the power, ground and can hi and can lo as used on the second connector on my MDC2 (evo X) - i have the connector that goes from the MDC 2 to the can to USB adaptor used for laptop comms...

I'd like to split the wiring so that it goes to the SLM, and also the CAN to USB adaptor - would it be ok to do this, as obviously i don't really want to introduce any problems in the CAN stream!!

Hi Ian,

Shouldn't be a problem connecting an SLM by splicing CAN HI, Lo etc. from the connector on your MDC2. Just remember that the the SLM needs 12V power. Cheers
