MoTeC folks

can the SLM be controlled simaultaneously by the M800 and the SDL dash display or is the SLM only controllable by one of the components at a given time?

Only one device should control the SLm at any one time. I have had 2 going at once, and it just flashes back and fourth between any conflicting light requests... Get the SDL to do everything as it has far more control that the M800

Kind of Figured as much!

BTW

on the SLM front.
Consider this a "feature" request :)

Currently there are four shift lights conditions. Is there anyway to add up to 6 or 8? Reason is that with all the color and brightness capabilities of the SLM. You can actually do a gradual change from point to point based on RPM but requires more than the 4 shift lights condition that the SDL or even the ADL2 has.

you can add 12 light conditions in SDL
16 light conditions in an ADL2

this is where you can get the great flexability in the SLM

the M800 really can just treat it as a warning and shift light device, so 4 + warning light are all you are going to be able to do.
