PDM16 OEM ECU EVO IX FUEL PUMP SWITCH TO GROUND

I am wiring my fuel pumps and removing all relays ,OEM EVO IX ECU grounds a pin which normally activates the fuel pump relay.
Do i just wire the OEM Fuel pump ground trigger output straight into PDM digital/Switched inputs ?
Are there any other requirements to make this work ?
