Basic Input / Output Questions

Hi,

I am unsure how to plan the wiring to & from the PDM. Why are there two outputs "grouped" together?

A1 - 20A Output 1 - w A10
A10 - 20A Output 1 - w A1
A27 - Digital/Switch Input 1

Also, can the PDM read any input and alter any output? In other words: Is "Input 1" linked to "Output(s) 1".

Second question: are pins A28 and B22 (0v) sources of ground or sensor ground?

Hi Alex,

The capacity of the individual pins is 10A, so we have two of them together to provide 20A as an output. You can either run two wires to the device being powered, or two shorter wires into a larger single wire to the device, you should not power two separate devices from each pin.

The PDM can use any input (either physical wire or CAN message) to drive any output, you can also use functions to control the outputs. Multiple inputs can control a single output, and a single input can control multiple outputs.

Pins A28 and B22 are the switch 0V's for the inputs, and A26 and B18 are the Battery Negatives.
