Starter Bump Button and PDM15

Postby jimhanalytic on Fri Jun 17, 2011 8:33 am

We want to put a starter bump button in the engine bay - easier for starting the car in the pits for warmup without a driver in the seat. The button would connect from Battery + to the solenoid in parallel with the Output 4 (A_7/A_16) from the PDM15. Also allows us to roll the engine even if the PDM were physically not present.

Will the PDM15 be damaged by this?

Thanks,

no, that wont damage the PDM, so it should work fine.
