On off time and cycles

Postby Holmz on Wed Apr 21, 2010 11:00 pm

Is there any data showing the rate that the current changes with the turn on signal sent(?), and turn off rate?
Or how fast can the PDM be turned on and off per second?
Is there a limit to duty cycles that the PDM is rated for?

As far as i know calculations are done at 50Hz in the PDM, so a full cycle, from OFF to ON to OFF would be 25Hz.

So if you say Output1 must be on when output1 =false, it would pulse at 25Hz.
Or you could flash 0.02ON, 0.02OFF for 50% 25Hz
