Postby godrift on Tue Apr 08, 2025 1:04 am

IM Trying to setup my e46 wiper motor to my PDM30
what i did is,
1-power motor linked to two 8A pins
2-speed signal to DI
3-ground to chassis.
the wiper motor is simple has two speeds slow and fast, i took the fast signal only.
need help how to setup in pdm30 as i tried many times.

Can you post your configuration?

Do you have a Park signal into the PDM?

hi Stephan, thank as usual for the support, attached my file
i will explain below my setup, under:
1-input pins: b_21: wiper park
2-functions: f_wiper.... 4 added functions
3-output pins: b_1 & b_2: is the only added the fast speed spliced into those two pins
in my setup only added one speed & ignored the slow speed.

Wiper setups can be tricky into the PDM, I would recommend rewiring the PDM so thatthe Low Speed Wipe is in Ouput 9 as this pin has a different control strategy to allow for wiper control, you then click on the Enable linked output control under theWiper control tab for the output to specify the High Speed output in use. Have a look through the PDM Manager manual under the Help menu to see the signals that you should be receiving into the PDM for the wiper control to function correctly.
