M150 GEAR TO PDM

Postby tsadilas on Sat Apr 22, 2023 10:27 pm

Hello,
ive attached my gear sensor onto the m150
is there anyway i get this info to my pdm?
so far ive ony managed to get the gear data in my c1212. then i transmit this and i get it from the pdm. that would be ok but i cannot get the pdm to see a value below zero ( reverse) . so i get a zero when im at neutral but also a zero at reverse. any good ideas...

thank you

Hi,

How are you transmitting the message into the PDM from the C1212? Is it being sent as a 8bit value, or a 16bit? With an 8B value, when the Gear value goes below 0, the value wraps around to 255, so a value of 254 is used for Reverse (-2)
