Adding values in PDM functions?

Postby 52pickup on Wed Oct 11, 2017 4:13 am

Is it possible to add values in a PDM function?

For example, I'd like to add the combined total amperage output of 2 PDMs, add them together and when the combined value is over a certain number turn on a secondary alternator.

I don't see any math functions in PDM manager, only Boolean conditions within the PDM.

This would be pretty easy with a dash that had with a 3D table, or a pro dash (ie. or C185 or ADLx) using Channel Maths and conditions to set a CAN channels that the PDM would use to turn on the secondary alternator, or could be directly controlled with a dash auxilary output.

Thanks David, I hadn't thought of using a table, works perfectly.
