Lamdba Warning channel m1 to CDL

Postby SteveC on Thu Oct 01, 2020 10:18 am

Hey is there a channel we can add to the m1 data to the cdl to display a warning when lambda warning is triggered.

Much like coolant warning or oil temp warning.

It seems to be missing

I think you can use the M1 channel "Warning Source" for this. So your alarm condition for Lambda Warning would be "Warning Source = 18" (18 is the enumeration value from GPRP M150 -- double check your package in M1 Tune, by looking at the help for "Warning Source").

There are currently 91 warning sources, so I don't think you will have individual alarms for all of them, but at least an alarm when ECU Warning Source is not zero, so you can check the logs for the cause of the warning.
