Have an issue We currently have a bosch ecu (MS4 SPort) and bosch dash.

We have installed the CDL3 dash to replace the Bosch dash. We get the tps to function though can and it shows correctly on the dash. However when we go to start the engine the can data on the dash freezes up and the connection to the PC is lost.

The voltage still shows fluctuation so it does not seem like the dash is locked up just the can items.

If i put in a default config with some data that is not correct (Can items, tps, rpm, etc are just randomly jumping around) with that said they do not freeze up and the connection to the pc remains.

Anyone ran across this or have a suggestions on what to fix. Keep in mind the Bosch dash and the cdl are using the same can wiring and power / gnd src and the Bosch works fine.

Is there a mismatch in the CANbus speeds? you might need to run the dash on a separate CANbus to the ECU. i had a similar issue with a Nissan R35 in that the CDL CANbus speed and the OBDII speed where different, and when the car was started, the dash lost functionality and the internal vehicle systems stopped working, such as the Start/Stop switch.

Comms to the dash was also lost at this time.
