Can someone please post the schematic and pinout for the CDL3 terminated loom that comes with the track kit? I need to modify mine and would rather not have to trace everything. Thanks in advance.

Thanks so much, Francois. Precisely what I needed. You just saved me a couple of hours with a multi-meter!

Does the can 2 connection for the GPS have a terminating resistor built in? I know the ECU connection has one. I am connecting my CL3, LTCD, etc. to an existing CAN bus (that has two terminating resistors) off of which I run my PDMs and am trying to figure out which of the CAN bus connections to use. Thanks.

Answer to this question is no, there is no terminating resistor in the CAN 2 connection off of which the GPS runs. Query whether, depending upon the length of the line to the GPS unit, there should be. I am swapping out the 10hz GPS that came with the CDL3 track kit for a Racegrade 20hz model, but it will be mounted more than 20 inches from the connection to the CDL3. I am thinking I need a terminating resistor. Any thoughts?

The standard Motec GPS receivers are serial not CAN. The racegrade GPS is also normally serial coms although I think they can supply a special CAN version. Are you sure yours is the CAN version?

Version 2 of the Racegrade has a CAN connection standard, as well as serial.
