Hi ,
I have a SDL3 mounting on a road motorcycle. As you know a motorcycle is running with the light "on" day and night.
How can i use a toggle switch for activate the Backlight ? Or can i use a variable resistor to increase and decrease the Backlight ? It's for adjust the better contrast....
Thank you.

you can put a toggle into a Dig input, and us a GP on/off channel to recieve this input.

Once you have done this, add a 2 D table with 0 being 0%, and 1 being 80% (or the required brightness) - See picture.

The other option is to put in a dial (the MoTeC 9 position switch for example) into an AV.

you can then just calibrate the input voltage from the AV into a backlight brightness channel.

Finally go into the Display / Backllight tab, and select the user channel value button, and choose the backlight brightness channel.

regards

Jamie
