Ford sensor calibrations.

I'm looking into doing a data logging project on a Ford Mondeo Tdci Diesel car and an ADL
To make things easier I was hoping to get hold of calibrations for some of the OEM sensors.

Any help appreciated.

For OEM sensors, it is usually better to get that information from the cars repair manual as they will have slopes for most temprature sensors and what resistance they should be at for the temprature.

Hi IDP,

Ive done a Ford Focus ST and kept some of the OEM sensors like Engine temp, Fuel pressure, Fuel temp etc...

Ive got no Idea if the Mondeo is the same but the Focus`s temp sensor read fine with the normal bosch 2500ohm at 20 degC calibration

Fuel pressure is linear...
0Kpa, 0.00 Volt
0Kpa, 0,647 Volt
380Kpa, 2.283 volt

(fuel temp is built into the fuel pressure sensor and it sits on the end of the rail, but i guess since you are doing a Diesel it would most definately be another sensor.) Calibration is not too difficult though because solid state pressure sensors are linear in voltage output to pressure. I could be wrong....anybody seen somthing else?
Anyway, take 2 known values....0bar being one...and another point that you have measured and fill it in as your calibration. If im at fault in my method, please do correct me.

Ive got the Focus PDF, dont know if it`ll be of any use to you?

Martin
