You may need to add the channel to list of logged channels under Functions0>Logging in your dash manager.

Regarding your gear channel. What are your settings under Calculation->Gear Detection? Or does the Gear channel come from an ECU / GCU? You may need to fix it there.

Also check that the logged Gear channel is the correct channel and that there hasn't been a table built to interpret the data from a other source to match the MoTeC display requirements.

If it is a gear sensor wired directly into the SDL then you may need to recalibrate the sensor.

For the gear , the sdl is connect to a life racing ECU
Where i can find if a table has been built to interpret the data

For the Gear Position, have a look under Calculations | Tables as this is the most logical place for this to be done. I've also looked at one of the CAN receive templates that we have for the Life Racing F88 ECU's, and for the Gear position channel in the that template we have an Adder of -2, this will drop the raw CAN data down by 2, so a channel that is transmitted from the ECU as 4 will be displayed in the Dash as 2. This change may need to be done in the CAN template that you are using as well.

OK, so if you want to use that - make sure you log the channel "SDL Aux 1 Condition" and use that as the Gear channel in your analysis.

Personally, I would use different channels, with the final result I want to display, log and analyze being "Gear".

I think Steven's suggestion of fixing the template to use adder -2 for the channel "Gear" is the right solution.

Hello
Yes thank you, the" SDL Aux 1 Condition" was not in the "loging set up" list

I just added it and it works
Thank you for your help :-)
