Hi there,
I would like to connect my ADL2 to an M 170 via CAN.
Unfortunately I don't know which template to choose.
I hope someone can help me.

If you are wanting to do something else, let us know what you are looking to accomplish.

I downloaded the latest version of the ADL 2 software,
but a suitable template for an M 170 GPR cannot be found in the list

The templates are in the thread I referenced. You need to download and use those.

I saw that, and downloaded the two templates.
But I don't know how to get them in the list to select

Put them in the folder C:\Program Files(x86)\MoTeC\Dash\Comms Setup\

unfortunately, I do not understand that. when I open the folder I find the two templates. But when I want to select them via my dash manager, they are no longer in the list.

Are you using the latest version of the ADL Manager? IF you are using an earlier version it may be that the files that David has referred you to have been done using the latest version of the DM and are not backwards compatible with the version of DM that you are using.

I am able to see and load those .CC7 comm template files with ADL2 Dash Manager 4.51I4, downloaded from the Latest Releases page:

can select 7 to 16 and click Select
none of the M1 general templates appear.
