mdd with input kit wiring to rs232

I have a mdd with input kit but the plug has been cut off i need help wiring to my m4 ecu with rs232 I'm not sure what colour wire to use from the input kit to the m4. I removed the back plate from the mdd there's a 20pin (j04) plug in the top right of the pcb with pin1 black-, pin5 violet/av9, pin7 blue/av7, pin9 green/av5, pin11 yellow/av3, pin13 orange/av1, Pin17 red+

Please help
