Hello,

I just bought a used 997 Cup Porsche (MY 2010).
I downloaded the ADL2 Dash Manager (V4.51I4) but are unable to install the Dash Manager.

When running the installation file (DM2_451I4_P.exe) it seems to extract files to C:\motec\make\DM2_451I4_P and then just stops. The routine also starts a file called setup.exe (according to the task manager the file is located at C:\Windows\SysWOW64\InstallShield).
When running the SETUP.EXE from C:\motec\make\DM2_451I4_P\Disk Images\disk1the same is happing (a process called setup.exe is started but nohting happens).

I am running Windows 7 (64 Bit) with full administrator rights.

Any suggestions?

Installation of ADL3 Dash Manager runs smoothly.

Thanks

I think we really deserve an answer from MoTeC.

ADL and ADL2 installation software doesn't work on Windows 10 PC or laptop.

ADL3 and SDL installation software works like a charm.

What is going on ??

In the following post, http://motec.com.au/forum/viewtopic.php?f=55&t=3048 Stephen explains how to install older MoTeC software on Windows 10.

Installing on older versions of windows (7 & 8/8.1) is usually just an administration rights issue. Right clicking on the installer and clicking run as administrator usually fixes the problem.

Thanks Adrian.

I used the described msconfig boot method, and managed to install the software in Windows 10 Pro.
