Determining ADL upgrades?

Postby mikey on Wed Mar 19, 2014 9:32 am

Hi guys,
I just bought my first race car with a MoTeC already installed. It is the older ADL and M800 ECU in a 2004 pro formula mazda. The car was advertised as having "the big ADL package" which I assumed means upgraded.

I'd like to figure out which options were previously enabled.

I pulled a log file from the car and it opens with I2Pro that I downloaded from MoTeC, so does that mean the dash logger has the pro upgrade?

Also how can I determine how much memory it has and whether or not it was built with a backlight? I think the dash serial number is 3059.

Also curious if it has the lambda option and how many I/O are enabled.

Cheers,
Mikey

Go to "online" "enable dash options" while connected to the ADL

This will show what is enabled.

If it is a backlit ADL, it will have a separate backlite inverter box mounted somewhere.
