Hello,
not sure if i'm right, but i have the same issue for three years.
In my case The Porsche Cup car use a special Firmware and to use or test the BR2
i need to start the engine. In the setup engine must rev over 100 rpm.
Hope this can help you.
Cheers

Hi Insomnia,

I know it has been a while since yuo requested an answer, is it still a issue? I have been working with a 997 Cup '09 and '11 and none of them had to have the engine running to check beacon id/running lap time. Do you get a becaon Id in your online data?

Best regards

On the transmitter and the receiver you can choose the channel.
In my case, the little Arrow on the pot was damaged, and i turn both pot in the clockwise
direction to match the same channel. After we test the beacon, and we can see the lap time,
but not the how many laps. To see that the engine need to run.....I cannot say more....
