Hi, i have a ADL Dash logger and i want to install a M ADL Shift 9LE billet light like a shift light, the light have DTM 6s plug and in the datasheet:
pin 1 outer two green led \
Pin 2 inner two green led
pin 3 innermost two green led
pin 4 innermost three red led
and the pin5 and 6 are for the 0v and 5v

the question is where i need to connect the pins 1,2,3 and 4, for use to RPM lights? On the AUX Port from the dash ? if yes how to configure?

THank you , and the ecu is a M400, if you need it

Richard,

To see which pins correspond to which Input or Output, you can use the Pin List in the Help File or you can look through the Input/Output lists in the Dash Manager Software. In this case, you will want to open Dash Manager and go to "Functions -> Auxiliary Outputs." In this list, you will see that Aux1 = ADL Pin 9, Aux2 = ADL Pin 10, Aux3 = ADL Pin 11, and Aux4 = ADL Pin 12. You can wire your LED lines back to these pins on the ADL. There are multiple locations for the 0V and 5V lines, and you'll need to look at your dash and look through the pin list to decide which to use.

As for configuration, you will want to get in to Dash Manager and go to "Functions -> Shift Lights" to set your logic. On the Method tab, you'll want to select "Simple" for the Up Shift Method and then select your RPM channel, whatever it's name may be. Next, go to the Upshift tab and select 4 channels to generate; these will be the corresponding outputs to the RPM values you set in the table below it. Finally, you will want to go to "Functions -> Auxiliary Outputs" and set your outputs. Select each Auxiliary output you have wired your LEDs to, define their Output Mode as "Light" and "Enabled," select the Light Channel that you generated in the Shift Lights setup, and define a brightness value.

After that, you can test this by sending the configuration and simulating different values of Engine RPM in "Online -> Simulate."
